Bardic Fluorescent Emergency Battens

These dedicated emergency luminaires operate whenever the mains fail and they are available in three modes of operation:

1. Maintained – Lamp/s illuminated on mains and in emergency mode when Mains fails

2. Sustained – one lamp on mains, the other on the emergency battery supply

3. Non maintained – lamp only operates when the mains fail.

Features include:

• Designed and tested to comply with As/NZS 2293
• Automatic battery low voltage cut out device to ensure longer battery life for the luminaire
• Available with Sealed Lead Acid or NiCad batteries
• Red LED indicates a healthy AC mains supply and functioning charger
• Test switch to test the emergency operation while AC mains is healthy
• Internal switch link in maintained and sustained models to permit connection of an external switch. This external switch can turn the light ON/OFF without affecting the emergency operation. If the switch link is removed, the luminaire will operate in Non Maintained mode
