The Bardic Sentinel is an add on which fits into most of the Bardic Emergency fittings to perform the routine tests required by the Building Code.
The Emergency and Exit light fittings must be tested every six months and to avoid the disruption that this can cause, the Sentinel performs these tests automatically.
Every 91 days the Sentinel does a 90 minute test of the Lumiere and cycles the battery for optimum performance and battery life.
The results of the test are indicated by LED lights.
A manual test can be requested if required. This system can be retro fitted into most Bardic Emergency light fittings and it will require no additional wiring. A test switch is not required in the switchboard, nor is a dedicated emergency circuit. The emergency lighting can be installed on a local lighting circuit.
