Bardic Exit Base Unit
There is a base unit for wall or ceiling mounting. A snap on diffuser converts the unit from an exit sign to an emergency light for illumination (illustrated).
The diffuser is supplied separately to provide a number of options for configuration, ie wall or ceiling mounting.
The base unit has three types:
1. Maintained - When the power is on the lights work as a normal light. When the mains voltage fails a battery backup will keep the light operating.
2 Non- Maintained - When the power is on the light is not operating, when the mains voltage fails the light comes on powered b y the battery backup.
3. Sustained - There are two lamps, one works on the mains and the other works on the battery backup.
The batteries are supplied in either SLA lead acid or Hi Temp Nicad.
