Corrosion resistant round fixed halogen downlight made by Halcyon Lighting in NZ.
This light is recessed into the soffit,under eaves or in carports where it highlights the wall and surrounding area. A series of these lights can be operated by a single sensor for security lighting.
The light is made of solid copper and will not corrode even in a seaspray zone. As the fitting ages it develops a patina which complements a timber soffit.
The fitting has a rim diameter of 85mm and a height of 65mm.
The hole cut out is 64 mm in diameter but do not cut the hole until the light is received.
The lights fits into a round hole cut in the soffit, the metal clips hold it firmly in place but allow easy removal if required.
The fitting takes a 12volt halogen bulb of up to 50 watts. The bulb is of the MR16 type which is one of the most common in use. The fitting can take an LED bulb with an MR16 base. A
transformer will be needed to convert the mains voltage to 12 volts. For best results it is best to use a separate transformer for each light
