Step, Deck & Driveway Lighting

Available to buy on line, exterior step or tread lighting, lighting for recessing into a deck or lights to set into a concrete driveway. Both low voltage halogen or mains voltage.

The low voltage (12 volt) halogen light fittings in this section will need a transformer.   If step or tread lights are fitted to an exterior wall of a building it may be possible to use interior transformers.

There is a significant voltage drop in a 12 volt cable so long runs of cable from the transformer to the light should be avoided.   Over 20 to 30 meters better results will be obtained by running the mains power in a conduit closer to the lights.
Transformers are available that can be buried or be wall mounted out of sight, see the transformer section.
