The light output emitted by the DL 90 R matches or exceeds the average typical halogen light source in beam angle and LUX levels at range of colour temperatures. A typical 50 watt halogen bulb gives off 950 lumen.
Many solutions only support narrow beam angles and are not a true halogen replacement. This light has a 50 degree beam angle which is equivalent of a Very Wide Flood Light (VWFL) halogen.
Ecolume DL 90 R Series is a complete solution with a solid robust housing of 100mm diameter and supports the standard cut out hole of 90mm. The design of the housing is recessed and fixed to provide a simple energy efficient light source for general illumination requirements. The recessed design also provides further insulation of the conditioned environment, reducing heat allowed to escape through the housing gaps.
At a total power draw of only 15 watts, the DL 90 R is designed for both domestic and commercial lighting applications that require an affordable lighting solution to reduce light energy consumption and reduce their carbon footprint.
