The Company


NZ Lighting Systems Ltd is based in Mairangi Bay on Auckland's North Shore.   Our office and showroom is located at 4k Antares Centre.  We are on the corner of Antares Place and Apollo Drive .

We started six years ago as a trade oriented supplier of lighting products to electrical and building firms. Today our customers include homeowners, businesses, sports clubs, charitable trusts and clients overseas.

1. Payment

1.1 Are my credit card details safe?

Yes, the transaction is made by the ANZ Bank on their secure E-Gate site. follow this link for details
The cards are authorised and debited in a SSL secure environment.

1.2 What credit cards may be used?

All major credit cards are accepted including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

2. Making a wrong Choice, getting a sample

2.1 How do I get a sample to check the quality of the light fitting?
  • Simply order one light and note "sample only" in the Company panel of the checkout.
  • If you do not like it, email or call us and we will arrange for it to be picked up and to refund your payment.
  • Unfortunately this does not apply to pendants, which once opened look second hand and we cannot resell them.
2.2 I have changed my mind and do not like the lights, what can I do.

Let us know by phone or email as soon as possible.  Pack up and send the lights back to us and provided they are in saleable condition and in the original packaging we will refund your payment in full.  This share s the cost of the mistake equally between us.

3. Warranty

3.1  How do I claim under Warranty?
Contact us with the problem.  We will send a replacement fitting or part at no cost.  If for any reason we want to inspect the faulty item we will arrange for it to be picked up.  We replace any items damaged in delivery.

1. Delivery


1.1 What are the delivery charges?

Within New Zealand, for orders over $100 there is no charge, for smaller orders a charge of $7.50 including GST applies.
Overseas orders have a freight charge applied at the shopping cart and this is the total cost to deliver to your address but it does not include customs or tax charges outside NZ if they apply.

1.2 How is it delivered?

We use Fastway Couriers for deliveries to your door  within NZ. This is overnight within the North Island and takes two working days to the South Island.  Rural Delivery may take another day.
Overseas we use NZ Post International Economy Courier which takes three to six working days.

1.3 Goods damaged in transit  what should I do?

If the box rattles open  it while the courier is present and sign for the item as damaged.  Then let us know and we will get a replacement to you.
Usually the cartons are opened well after delivery. in this case let us know of any damage as soon as possible. we will send a replacement and possibly collect the damaged items for spare parts
